Like A Demon’s Eye (Where Have All The Paos Gone?)

Sorry for the general silence of late. I’m actually prepping for a couple* of Thanksgiving week games and it’s distracted me from the blog. Have no fear, though, I’ll be back to providing you with the content you’re itching for ‘ere long.

In the mean time, here’s some Deep Purple that’s almost as old as I am:

Why? Because it’s good, that’s why.

* A sequel to last year’s BRP Western and, um, something else. Yeah. I don’t quite know what I’m running yet, since I’ve got some brand new folks involved and I’m not sure what to throw at ’em. Labyrinth Lord or BRP are most likely, though.

Thanks for the good wishes, amigo. The western should be fun and I think the “meet the newbies” is going to be a good old fashioned Labyrinth Lord romp, which, like Deep Purple, is hard to go wrong with 🙂

    Excellent! sounds like fun!
I’m actually giving Dnd: Dark Sun a whirl tomorrow night. A local game store runs “encounters” every week.
I gather the idea is that you just rock up and get handed a pre-stated pc and get playing.
While that’s not 100 per cent what i’m into I figure it’s a good way to recruit a group

Sounds fun, even if it involves 4th ed 🙂

It should be a good way to work towards putting a group together. Are you all moved and settled in now? Or is the transition still ongoing?

Ah, sorry – I didn’t see this reply yesterday.
Yep, all moved in. I’m sharing with some folks right in the city until my wife can untangle her job and start looking to move here.
    So far so good

And I haven’t had a chance to reply (or, honestly, even think) until just now. So we’re both a little slower than normal 🙂

I’m glad you’re getting settled in, amigo. And I hope things move swiftly on the wife’s gig front. The separation can’t be fun, but “so far, so good” will have to do.

      Cheers!
