Minotaur (Not Quarterly) #7!

My old pal Olivier Legrand, he of the majesty that is Mazes & Minotaurs (and he who gave me my start in recent geek publication) has released Minotaur #7. This monster clocks in at 80 pages and proves once again that just because a game is “small” doesn’t mean it’s unsupported.

Check out #7 (and all the rest, including 1-4, where yours truly contributed some adventures and such) at the Minotaur page.

If by some chance you’ve not had the pleasure of digging into M&M, for the love of Zeus check it out!

The 1987 Revised Rules are probably the easiest jumping on point. But consider a look at the 1972 Original Rules as well.

And if you like what you see, definitely dive into the epic adventure known as The Tomb of the Bull King. It is nothing short of amazing.

Finally, drop by the M&M Yahoo Group. It’s full of friendly and insightful people pushing the boundaries of what M&M can do.

If I could find a way to mesh Mazes & Minotaurs and Barbarians of Lemuria into one game…

And, as you know, O’ Venomous One, I will be interviewing Olivier for TARGA. And Simon Washbourne, too! If you have any questions for either one, please let me know, I am compiling a small list of questions for both gentlemen this week.

Oh my! Barbarians of Mythika would be a damned fine game indeed.

I don’t have any questions for Olivier right now, but if I think of any I’ll let you know.

For Simon my only real question is “Why the hell isn’t Guns of Laredo” out yet? 🙂

Oh, by the way, awesome adventures in The Minotaur! I am thinking of getting the game printed out with a few issues tacked on and a custom front and back cover for the Ultimate M&M edition.

As we Texans are supposed to say in moments like these… “Aw, shucks. ‘T’weren’t nothin’, mister.” 🙂

But seriously, I’m tickled that you like the adventures. They were great fun to do and I’m honored to have been able to contribute to the M&M canon.

Working with Olivier is great. You should chat him up about doing something for Minotaur #8. Mythika needs you, man!

Hey, I posted on the Yahoogroup that I would be happy to contribute to M&M. Although I did reply to the thread on the magazine called The Paladin. Oh, anything that I contribute would probably be troublesome for the innocent players in some way.

Excellent! And that’s the first I’ve heard about The Paladin, which is also great news. Hmm, I might even have to dust off my M&M muscles and see if I can’t put together a little something for that publication as well.

Look out, innocent players. Trouble’s a’ comin’! 🙂

        Muhaha! 🙂

I know, I know. But it’s so hard to keep to one game when there’s such great stuff out there. And Olivier really does produce fantastic work. So at least it’s not like you’re on a really good diet and then bingeing on McDonald’s.

Yeah, I’m rationalizing. I’m good at it 🙂
