As always, I'm delighted you dig 'em, amigo. Especially ol' Hyaldi. Despite being eeeeeevil he's my favorite of the bunch :)

Thieves in B/X were definitely on the fragile side, which is part of why I prefer the Advanced HD option from AEC (and the source material, of course). Also, when I played D&D back in the day we almost always started at 3rd level or higher (but never higher than 6th or so), so durability (and, to a lesser degree, skill) weren't quite as much of an issue.

And, of course, filching from the party was a constant :)

Thieves. I love 'em. Specially that Hyaldi the Rat Catcher. These guys always seem to have so much color.

That being said, I was never sure of the class being a viable choice in D&D. I played a lot of Moldvay Basic, and with Thieves in that iteration having d4 hp and next to no chance of doing anything besides climbing walls, they didn't seem up for much (besides trying to filch from the party).

Unfortunately, this is all G-Man has provided us with so far. But I've heard rumors that more might be in development. If that turns out to be true, Strange Stones will gladly host them!

Welcome to BoL, Vorpal Cortex! It's a great game and I hope you get much enjoyment from it. Cheers!

I just picked up BoL and like it a lot. I then found G-Man's adventures here. Awesome! Does G-man have anything else. I don't want to miss a thing!!

Oh, you're talking about 80's Faded Glories, not Green Slime Gothic, now.

Actually, Rodney played the Pedro character. I played Graham Niles from Honey I Co-Signed for the Kids! The one with the failed comeback career as a children's book author? You remember him. Ended up as a renaissance fair male prostitute.

Personally, I thought smuggling the Ray Bans past customs was thrilling, and a high point of the campaign.

You never really knew just how uncomfortable those scenes with Mr. Willows made me, did you? I hated to turn Tillie into slime, but it was the only way out, man!

But I truly did enjoy your turns as Oscar Guardado (TV's Pedro Jimenez from That's Our Pedro!). I still wish that campaign hadn't ended. But you know, when half the players get busted for smuggling Chinese knockoffs of YSL bags & Ray Bans frames and lead-tainted cabbages into the country, it really is just time to quit.
